Leaders - Brighton Branch Opening Event PR Marketing Photography by Photographer Emma Bailey

Leaders – Sustainable Branch Opening

Leaders estate agents asked me to capture the mayor of Brighton opening their new sustainable branch. Local businesses and key green influencers also came to be shown the new space. As part of their commitment to delivering sustainability across the business, they’re excited to open their first sustainable branch office in Brighton. They commissioned green office and retail design consultants Jackson Associates to completely refurbished and design the Leaders, Brighton office to entirely new green principles. This includes use of […]

Sportscover-Insurance---Corporate-Headshot-Photography-by-Brighton-Photographer-Emma-Bailey3

Sportscover – Corporate Headshots

Global sports insurers, Sportscover, were building a new website, so I spent a couple of hours at the Walki-Talkie building in London updating their corporate headshots. I mixed natural light with flash to create some semi-informal corporate headshots to reflect their relaxed, but professional nature. I used my Godox AD600Pro with the nimble Phottix Raja 65m, a great mobile set up. The lighting stand was held by the lovely Declan, my client at the marketing agency Brandformula Camera: Canon R5  […]

Cliques-feat-Grim-Sickers-Back-Up-Music-Video-by-Brighton-Videographer-&-Cinematographer-Emma-Bailey-DoP

Back Up ft Grim Sickers – Music Video

Back Up ft Grim Sickers from drum n’bass trio Cliques is a Brighton music video shot/light/cut by me and filmed at The Old Market on the hottest day of the year. We only had a few hours in the theatre to shoot the trio, the rapper Grim Sickers, the fire performer Lily Fortune and the contortionst Twisted Nymph. The theatre’s lighting tech Dan Walker was going up and down the ladders all day moving the lights around. We filmed it […]

Bloom-and-Wild---Pride---Emma-Bailey-Brighton-Queer-Creative-Portrait-Photographer

Bloom & Wild – Pride

Bloom & Wild paid tribute to Pride heroes of the past, present and future Flowers. They make us feel good. But they’re more than just pretty petals. Since the very first Pride marches, flowers have been worn by the LGBTQIA+ community as a symbol of solidarity, self-expression and flamboyant defiance. Perhaps most iconically by Marsha P. Johnson (1945 – 1992), a Black trans woman and a key figure in the 1969 Stonewall riots. For Pride, in partnership with LGBT Foundation, […]

Jack-Valero-Brighton Musician Music Photographer Emma Bailey Photography. Light painting on black background.

Jack Valero

I used light painting to capture Brighton-based musician Jack Valero for his debut album. Jack wanted a different look to the usual singer-songwriter photography and light painting is an abstract and playful median to show Jack and his music. It was a hot, bright day when we blacked out the studio, so as to stop any light leaks. A 60secs exposure can show any light that is in the frame. Jack was very calm and patient whilst I repeatedly light […]

Safe Space Sussex App

Sussex Police

Police & Crime Commissioner Katy Bourne launched a new app called ‘Safe Space Sussex’, aimed at helping people should they feel unsafe outside of their home. TM Studios hired me to video the POV in Brighton. Users will be directed by a map showing their location and a number of red pins indicating Safe Spaces near them. On arrival, the staff will offer them somewhere to wait and offer to call 999, 101 or a contact of their choice. It […]

Haybury - Brighton Corporate Headshot Marketing and and PR Photography by Photographer Emma Bailey

Haybury

Haybury asked me to capture all their staff’s headshot photography at their Brighton offices. Over three days I photographed their diverse organisation, in different areas and weather conditions for a rebrand of their website.  As a people oriented company, they wanted to veer away from the typical corporate on white headshot and showcase their top floor offices in International House, to encompass the relaxed atmosphere that they operate in. Haybury is an Executive Search Consultancy. They focus solely within Life Sciences, locally […]

Shark Short Film Awards - Brighton Event Photographer-Emma Bailey Photography

Shark Short Film Awards

The Shark Short Film Awards took place in Brighton and I photographed the winners in some Brighton spots near the venue Hotel du Vin. The presenters wanted to advertise the new location as they had moved from Ireland whilst showcasing the winners. They wanted the quirkyness of Brighton, so instead of standard photos I changed my approach and used a wide angle, with a Godox flash head and togther with a client to hold my hold, we took people down […]

Kenny-Knight-Stuntman-on motorbike-Professional-Headshot-Artist-by-Brighton-Portrait-Photographer-Emma-Bailey-Photography

Kenny Knight

Kenny Knight is a stuntman, actor and choreographer, we spent a cold December day photographing him and his bike on Brighton seafront. This was my last shoot of 2021 and it was a pretty cool way to end the year. The bike photo had some heavy editing to remove people, cars and traffic lights. The actors headshot was simple natural light, not even a reflecter was needed as I wanted to promote his edge. Camera: Canon R5 Bike: Godox AD600Pro […]

Amies-Freedom-Choir-perform-for-Anti-Slavery-International-Video-by-Brighton-Emma-Bailey-Videographer

Amies Freedom Choir

Anti-Slavery International asked me to create videos of the Amies Freedom Choir for their Annual Supporter Meeting. It was an absolute privilege to witness the power of these survivors. I was moved to tears many times during filming and the edit. Anti-Slavery International is the world’s oldest human rights organisation, founded in 1839, campaigning for freedom from slavery for everyone, everywhere, always. The choir aims to develop the musical and cultural awareness of young women who have survived trafficking by […]
